We’re partnered with a reputable General Contractor seeking a
Texas-based Traveling Superintendent
with proven experience delivering
complex commercial ground-up projects , including multi-story buildings, elevators, structural steel, and concrete construction. This role is built for a Superintendent who is comfortable being on the road and trusted to run large, technically demanding projects independently from mobilization through close-out. What You’ll Be Doing
Lead commercial ground-up projects nationwide Manage construction involving multi-story structures, elevator systems, steel, and concrete Oversee daily site operations, subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and safety Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, architects, and engineers Drive schedules, sequencing, and logistics on complex job sites Enforce quality control and safety standards consistently Maintain clear documentation, reporting, and site communication Represent the GC professionally on high-visibility projects What We’re Looking For
7+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial GC Strong ground-up construction background (required) Direct experience with multi-story, elevator, steel, and concrete buildings Must be Texas-based and open to full travel within TX Ability to lead large crews and manage complex scopes independently Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, and field coordination Nice to Have
Experience on projects $20M+ Proficiency with Procore or similar field management tools Experience traveling for long-duration projects Why This Role
