Who we are looking for: Cornerstone Home Lending is seeking a Lock Desk Specialist to support our offices in Houston, TX! The Lock Desk Specialist works closely with our loan originators and brokers in regard to locks, relocks, extensions, and providing day-to-day assistance.

Schedule:

Hours: 9:00am - 6:00pm CST

Minimum 3 days a week. Monday required.

Possible 4th day as needed for projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lock Loans under Builder Forward commitments

Responds to phone and email requests from production staff, to correct and update loan terms

Stays abreast on guidelines & procedures for Builder Forward processes, and follows them diligently

Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail with data entry

Answers phone calls and email messages in a timely manner

Maintain forward commitment data to balance each commitment

Assist branches/JV's in maintaining their comments through loan moves and blends.

Special projects for Forward Admin Team

Builder Forward Invoice Reconciliation

What you'll need to be successful:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Familiarity with separate loan programs & pricing is a plus

Previous experience in Lock/Commitment Desk area, preferred

Ability to perform in a fast paced, high-pressure environment

Demonstrated judgment and decision-making ability

Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with branch, regional and corporate personnel

Excellent PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets. Ability to learn additional programs as required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Must be available to work all regularly scheduled hours; arriving at scheduled reporting
