The George Street Co-op is a non-profit natural foods store owned and run by its members. We sell vegetarian foods with the greatest nutritional value possible, and only minimal processing or additives. Everyone is welcome to shop at the Co-op and choose from our excellent selection of fresh organic produce, bulk foods, vitamins & herbs, body care and earth-friendly products, gifts, and more. The George Street Co-op is seeking in-person or remote volunteers to serve as Outreach Committee Board members with a focus on Graphic Design. Responsibilities
Create graphics for signage and social media campaigns for the George Street Co-op to drive volunteer and consumer engagement and promote the Co-op’s free community events Work with graphic design tools and have a basic knowledge of accessible design practices Attend weekly remote meetings to coordinate efforts across the committee Qualifications
Comfort with graphic design tools Basic knowledge of accessible design practices Willingness to participate in weekly remote meetings Benefits
