The Role: Excellence in the Details Kitchen Tune-Up Brooklyn is looking for a
Master Finish Carpenter
to lead our installation team. This isn't just about hanging boxes; it’s about precision, problem-solving, and professional leadership. You will be responsible for executing high-end kitchen transformations—including refacing, custom modifications, and full installs—across Brooklyn and Manhattan.
What You’ll Do
Technical Leadership:
Lead the installation of custom cabinetry, integrated panels, crown molding, and complex trim work with 1/32" precision.
On‑Site Problem Solving:
Troubleshooting structural surprises in NYC homes and making field adjustments that maintain the integrity of the design.
Team Development:
Manage and mentor installer/helpers. You ensure the "Kitchen Tune-Up" standard is met by everyone on your site.
Client Interface:
Act as the primary point of contact on-site with a calm, professional, and confident demeanor.
Requirements
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Driver’s License:
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
Transportation:
Reliable transportation to travel between various job sites in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Proven Craftsmanship:
5+ years of experience in high‑end finish carpentry or cabinet installation.
Communication:
Must be fluent in English to communicate effectively with clients and the management team.
Tools:
Must own basic carpentry hand and power tools (specialty tools provided).
