Architectural Masonry Sales Representative

Milwaukee | In-Person Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (Rotating Saturdays during peak season) Compensation:
$60,000 – $80,000 base salary + uncapped commission Benefits:

We're partnering with a well-established building materials distributor serving southeastern Wisconsin to hire a professional, relationship-driven Architectural Masonry Sales Representative. This is an outside sales role focused on building and growing relationships with architects, contractors, masons, developers, and homeowners. The ideal candidate has experience in building materials or construction products and presents themselves confidently and professionally in front of clients. This is not counter or transactional sales—it's a consultative role centered on influencing product selection and developing long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with architects, contractors, masons, and other industry partners
Generate new business and grow repeat sales through proactive outreach
Consult with customers to recommend appropriate masonry and hardscape products
Prepare estimates, material calculations, and purchase agreements
Collaborate with inside sales and vendors to support project planning and order fulfillment
Communicate professionally with customers via in-person meetings, phone, and email
Qualifications
4+ years of outside sales experience (Building materials or construction product experience is highly encouraged)
Masonry, hardscape, brick, stone, or related product knowledge preferred
Comfortable traveling throughout the territory for customer meetings and job site visits
Professional, articulate, and presentable with strong interpersonal skills
Confident initiating conversations and building trust with a wide range of customers
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
Ability to prioritize projects, work independently, and meet deadlines
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office and standard office applications
