We’re looking for a Sales Coordinator to support our sales organization and help ensure opportunities don’t stall due to bandwidth. This role sits at the intersection of sales, customer service, and finance. You’ll own follow-up, pricing support, and account accuracy, while serving as backup for customer service when needed.
This is a great role for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable communicating with customers and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
Sales support and follow-up
Proactively follow up on leads, quotes, and opportunities generated by leadership and the sales team
Support post–trade show and outbound sales follow-up to ensure momentum continues
Coordinate samples, pricing, and next steps with customers
Maintain a simple pipeline to track follow-ups and account activity
Pricing and account support
Create, maintain, and update customer-specific and channel pricelists
Ensure pricing accuracy across systems, promotions, and key accounts
Assist sales with pricing requests and documentation
Key account reconciliation
Reconcile key account charges including deductions, chargebacks, shortages, co-op, and entitlements
Track and validate promotional allowances and entitlement usage by account
Partner with finance to resolve discrepancies and recover deductions
Maintain clear documentation and audit trails
Serve as backup for customer service handling order status, shipping inquiries, returns, and basic account needs
Support order entry, PO tracking, and issue resolution as needed
What we’re looking for
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with spreadsheets and pricing data
Clear, professional communicator comfortable following up with customers
Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
Experience supporting sales teams, customer service, or sales operations
Familiarity with key accounts, retailer portals, EDI, or ERP systems is a plus
Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently
What success looks like
Sales leads are consistently followed up and nothing goes cold
Pricelists are accurate, current, and easy for the sales team to use
Fewer unresolved deductions and faster recovery of dollars
Leadership and sales teams spend less time chasing details and more time closing
Customer service coverage feels seamless when needed
Why this role matters This role plays a critical part in turning opportunities into revenue and protecting the business from pricing and deduction leakage. You’ll be trusted with real responsibility and have direct impact on sales performance.
Preferred candidates are based in the greater San Diego area. The role typically requires two days in the office, though we’re open to discussing flexibility for an A-Player Candidate.
