Director of Children's Ministry

East Cobb UMCis seeking a creative, compassionate Director of Children’s Ministry to lead and grow a vibrant ministry for infants through 5th grade. Located just of 1-75 in Marietta, we seek to be a place where all are fully welcomed and fully loved. We believe children are full participants in the life of the church and deserve a faith foundation rooted in love, curiosity, and belonging. In this 20 hour per week position, the Director will be responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing all aspects of the church’s ministry with children including but not limited to Sunday School, Children’s Church, and seasonal special events. While Sunday mornings are a requirement, we offer flexible weekday scheduling. This position invites you towork with a supportive and collaborative staff with the opportunity to shape and grow a meaningful ministry with children and their families.
