Job Title: Sales/Account Executive - Cybersecurity
US REMOTE
Full Time Direct Hire
Role summary Own new-business acquisition across a defined U.S. territory/vertical by building pipeline through outbound prospecting and closing complex cybersecurity deals. You’ll run the full sales cycle end-to-end and partner closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success.
Responsibilities
Create and execute a hunter-led territory plan (ICP, target accounts, outreach sequences, events/partners) to generate pipeline.
Prospect and qualify new opportunities with security and IT buyers (e.g., CISO, CIO, SecOps/AppSec leaders) and multi-thread stakeholder maps.
Lead discovery, present solutions, coordinate demos, build proposals, negotiate, and close net‑new revenue.
Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecasting in CRM; operate with strong process discipline (e.g., MEDDIC/MEDDICC-style qualification if applicable).
Collaborate with channel partners/MSPs where relevant to accelerate deal cycles and expand reach.
Qualifications
3+ years of quota-carrying B2B “hunter” experience with consistent new‑logo attainment; cybersecurity/SaaS preferred.
Comfortable selling technical solutions with longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and procurement/legal steps.
Strong outbound skills (cold calling/email/social), crisp messaging, and executive presence.
Willingness to travel within territory for customer meetings and events (as needed).
Metrics for success
Pipeline generated, qualified pipeline coverage, net-new ARR/revenue closed, win rate, sales cycle time, and forecast accuracy.
