About the Role: As an Assistant Account Executive, you will be responsible for executing experiential marketing programs and events, retail promotions, and shopper marketing campaigns in support of your assigned portfolio of client accounts.
Responsibilities:
Support execution of assigned programs with excellence, the “RSM Way”
Provide day-to-day account management to assigned clients through proactive and regular communication with account team members
Assist with the development of presentations, proposals, marketing materials and recaps
Attend internal and external meetings
Work collaboratively with account team and internal shared service departments to deliver results that exceed client expectations
Source assets, materials, supplies, and/or media to support programs and events
Support necessary steps to ensure proper approvals are received by client
Work with third party vendors, partners and contractors to secure staffing and services
Track and report expenses to ensure account team’s fiscal responsibility of program budgets
Occasional travel is required to oversee program kick-off events, high profile events, and client meetings (20%)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1-2 years of experience in Marketing or related field
Exceptional organization, planning and project management skills that reflect a strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Uses technology, resources and time efficiently; learns quickly and applies current information to appropriate tasks
Displays a high level of energy, adaptability, persistence and a positive outlook
Represent RSM and the client in a professional manner
