Responsibilities
Quote and sell insurance products to new and existing customers
Advise prospects on appropriate insurance coverage and options based on their circumstances
Verify accuracy of information provided by potential insured regarding insurance and driving history
Explain coverage and payment options to customers
Follow up on underwriting department requests to ensure policy adherence and improve customer retention
Qualifications
Must possess or be prepared to obtain a Property and Casualty License within the first 2 months of employment
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task with speed and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
Thorough understanding of company guidelines and the ability to communicate them effectively to customers and employees
Experience in sales or customer service within the insurance industry
