Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar sales or catering management role
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with a polished, professional presence
Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects with strong organizational skills
Experience with professional selling techniques, including prospecting, presenting, and closing
Preferred Background & Skills
Previous catering sales or hotel sales experience preferred
Creativity and knowledge of food and beverage a plus
Experience managing executive and high-end client relationships
Familiarity with local industry and community organizations
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Achieve assigned catering and banquet sales goals while supporting overall property revenue targets
Proactively source and secure new accounts, conduct sales tours, and entertain prospective clients
Maintain and expand relationships with key accounts across social, corporate, and group segments
Monitor market trends and adapt sales strategies to maximize opportunities
Oversee preparation and accuracy of event schedules, contracts, and banquet orders
Represent the property at industry events and within local organizations
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure flawless execution of client events
Participate in sales meetings, special promotions, and other company initiatives as needed
