Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for an Intake Specialist based in Houston, Tx, with some opportunities to work from home. The Intake Specialist will be responsible for engaging with clients during the initial intake process, collecting and verifying client information, and ensuring accurate documentation. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, guiding clients through assessment services, and collaborating with team members to address client needs efficiently.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse clients in order to comduct full psychosocial assessment.
Experience with client intake and customer service, ensuring a positive and professional client experience
Knowledge of insurance processes, including verification and billing, is beneficial
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for documentation and client management
Prior experience in a healthcare or mental health setting is preferred
Degree required; additional education in healthcare or social services is a plus
