Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in San Diego, CA. The Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing design projects, creating detailed construction drawings, and developing comprehensive interior design plans. The role includes space planning, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), collaborating with clients, and directing junior staff, and coordinating with architects and contractors to ensure seamless project implementation. Qualifications Proficiency in Space Planning and expertise in creating functional design layouts Strong understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings Experience in Interior Design, including conceptual design and aesthetic development Knowledge of FF&E selection, sourcing, and integration into design projects Strong project management and organizational skills Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite) Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field Excellent communication and collaborative skills when working with clients and team members Up-to-date knowledge of design trends and building codes Field experience and understanding of construction processes are a plus
