Job Description Greenville & F-16 Communications Manager

What You Will Be Doing
The Greenville and F-16 Communications Manager leads strategic internal and external communications activities for the F-16 aircraft program as well as the Greenville, South Carolina site. The manager is responsible for developing and executing the overall integrated communications strategy for the F-16 program and the Greenville site. The manager will lead a team of communicators, providing mentoring and coaching, assigning work, and partnering effectively. The candidate must have demonstrated strategic communications experience along with a reputation for building strong relationships and working across organizational boundaries. The candidate may represent the company with media inquiries and events, community engagements, briefings and presentations. In addition, this person leads strategic executive communications support to the Vice President of the F-16 program and Greenville site lead.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute integrated communications strategies for the F-16 program and the Greenville site.
Manage development, execution and maintenance of master F-16 and Greenville message and content packages.
Lead crisis and issues management for the F-16 and Greenville site, coordinating as appropriate with stakeholders.
Manage domestic and international media relations by building trusted relationships with key F-16-focused and local Greenville reporters.
Partner with Government Relations on civic engagement strategies and execution.
Provide strategic direction for community relations, marketing and digital media approaches.
Use metrics, data and feedback to continuously improve, adjust and drive decisions.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
