Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abingdon, VA, for an Agency Sales Representative. The Agency Sales Representative will focus on building and maintaining successful client relationships, identifying and generating leads, and presenting Colonial Life's financial protection solutions to employer groups. This position involves organizing and conducting sales presentations, fostering partnerships with business owners, and ensuring client satisfaction by recommending the best benefits packages tailored to meet their needs. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.

Strong sales, business development, and client relationship management skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
Ability to analyze client needs and recommend tailored solutions
Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities effectively
Proficiency in using relevant sales tools and technology
Previous sales experience in insurance or benefits is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred but not required
