Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for an Account Manager based in Phoenix, AZ. The Account Manager will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acquiring a portfolio of accounts, and ensuring the successful implementation of Colonial Life insurance programs. Key responsibilities include client acquisition, addressing client needs, providing education about benefit offerings, supporting the enrollment process, and driving customer satisfaction. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams and identifying opportunities for business growth while maintaining service excellence.
This is a 1099 commission and bonus based role.
Qualifications
Proven skills in account management, building client relationships, and managing client portfolios
Experience with customer service and problem-solving to address client needs effectively
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain benefit offerings clearly
Knowledge or background in the insurance or employee benefits industry is a plus
Ability to work independently while also collaborating with internal teams
Proficiency in using client management tools and basic understanding of technology-based enrollment systems is a benefit
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
