Role and Responsibilities We’re looking for an experienced Product Sales Specialist to join our first‑ever Samsung Ads Product Specialist Sales team (PSS). This B2B‑focused role is responsible for understanding, selling, and driving adoption of new Samsung Ads priority products, specifically focused on Sponsorships, Creator, and Livestreaming advertising offerings.
This senior individual contributor will work closely with Sales and GTM partners to help customers activate new and emerging Samsung Ads Solutions. This revenue‑overlay sales specialist carries a lead list, quota, and a clear mandate to help key account owners at Samsung drive customer adoption and implementation of new products.
The role will accompany Sales to speak with external customers daily, pitch new products to new‑to‑Samsung stakeholders, and educate the market on new Samsung offerings. Success will be measured by connecting with new‑to‑Samsung stakeholders in Sponsorship, PR/Celebrity, Creator, Social, and/or Livestream teams (Agency and Clients), driving product adoption, revenue per product, and shortening deal cycle time.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Specialists, this role is critical for ensuring the continued success of Samsung Ads.
The goal is to make Samsung Ads a must‑buy partner to top brands and agencies by activating investment in new areas and products for existing customers, while simplifying and better defining Samsung’s product adoption and GTM.
The role is based in‑office at Samsung Ads in New York City (1 PENN Plaza). It is in‑office 3 days per week, increasing to 5 days per week starting July 2026, consistent with broader Samsung America policies. What You’ll Do
Serve as the primary Product Specialist Sales on Sponsorship, Creator, and Livestream Ad Formats for Samsung Ads—your go‑to contact for Sales and GTM leaders, helping bring products from early stages into successful, always‑on, must‑buy offerings across customers. Focus on Samsung’s premium high‑value content portfolio, including market‑exclusive, brand‑awareness‑driving tentpoles such as the 2025 and awareness‑based offerings (e.g. Jonas Brothers Livestream concerts, SKMTown concerts, flagship Creator original initiatives on Samsung TV Plus+, and more).
Drive product adoption and product revenue—refine and accelerate the team’s overall go‑to‑market by finding the right client stakeholders, often activating new‑to‑Samsung stakeholders at brands and agencies (e.g. Social, PR, Talent, Experiential, Partnerships). Build and leverage these relationships to drive always‑on, recurring revenue and adoption for target products.
Translate product offerings into customer business objectives—take complex products and distill them into easy‑to‑understand offerings for non‑technical audiences, helping sellers deliver live presentations. Handle objections and feedback, monitor campaign performance via Customer Success, and liaise with Sales to drive client interest and excitement.
Build and refine value propositions—leverage materials from Sales Enablement and Product Marketing in‑market with customers, and provide feedback on value proposition to refine messaging.
Serve as a subject‑matter expert on these products—be the go‑to SME on priority Creator, Livestream, and Sponsorship products for Samsung, inspiring confidence in sellers and adoption/revenue from clients.
Partner cross‑functionally—work daily with Sales, Customer Success, GTM, Product Managers, Product Strategy, Marketing and others to bring offerings to life, and provide informed recommendations on product steer and deployment.
Required Qualifications
CTV/Media/Advertising product sales expertise: 8+ years of experience leading advertising‑related product sales programs, the majority in driving sales in a related product area or for an industry leader.
Strong Sponsorship, Creator, and Livestream product knowledge: At least 7 years of experience selling specific‑solution products in relevant areas like Social, Creator, Live, Sponsorships, and more. Comfort dealing with these teams at agencies and clients, fluent in customer outcomes and expectations (e.g. 360 integrations, rights and licenses, production).
Proven track record of successful product sales: successfully sold and upsold new products, and accelerated adoption of existing products, especially within these premium, direct, upper‑funnel areas for Ads.
Comfortable pitching and closing customers: responsible for building or bringing a network of buyers in relevant spaces (e.g. Lower Funnel, Conversion, App Installs, Search). Strong relationships with clients and agencies, and a willingness to partner with primary account holders across Sales as needed.
Outstanding cross‑functional relationship: particularly with Sales, Product Marketing, Engineering, L&D, Monetization, and others.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (product, marketing, business, media, etc).
Preferred Qualifications
Strong market landscape knowledge: Direct experience at or with leading media, CTV/OTT advertising platforms, or related programmatic platforms (e.g. Amazon/Twitch, Meta, Netflix, Google, Disney, Roku, Walmart, Whalar, NBCU).
Familiarity with Samsung Ads products and industry offerings: including programmatic and direct offerings, device capabilities, and Samsung TV PlusTV+ offerings.
Comfortable managing to a quota: Sales role with a target account list and target products to move.
Outcome‑driven: Maintain process and documentation, but serve as a holistic end‑to‑end leader that drives holistic seller and market product adoption.
Excellent communication: strong written and verbal communication and persuasive presentation skills.
Strong operator: exceptionally organized and operationally‑focused.
Interests: passionate fan of creators, artists, events, and experiences.
Additional Information
