The Role
Senior Director overseeing Product Sales Specialists to lead our efforts in North America and build the first-ever Product Specialist Sales organization at Samsung Ads. Lead a B2B-focused team responsible for understanding, selling, and driving adoption of new Samsung Ads priority products across the full funnel. Work closely with Sales and GTM partners to help customers activate new Samsung Ads Solutions; manage a revenue-overlay team with a lead list, quota, and mandate to help key account owners drive adoption and implementation of new products. Engage with Sales to speak with external customers daily, pitch new products to new-to-Samsung stakeholders, and educate the market on new Samsung offerings. Success measured by product adoption, revenue per product, and improved deal cycle time. Lead in a context where many products are in alpha or beta; adapt creatively to drive adoption and revenue. Report to the Managing Director of Commercialization and manage a team of 4-5 senior individual contributors, including senior IC Product Support Specialists overseeing a mix of upper-funnel and lower-funnel product adoption. Aim to make Samsung Ads a must-buy partner to top brands and agencies by activating investment in new areas and products; simplify and define product adoption and GTM. Role based in-office at Samsung Ads in New York City (1 PENN Plaza); in-office 3 days per week with plans to move to 5 days per week starting July 2026 per broader Samsung America policies.
What You'll Do
Own Product Specialist Sales as the senior point of contact, partnering with GTM and Sales leaders to bring products from launch into successful, always-on, must-buy offerings across enterprise and growth customers.
Drive product adoption and revenue by identifying the right client stakeholders, activating new-to-Samsung stakeholders, and building relationships to sustain recurring revenue and adoption for target products.
Translate complex product offerings into customer business objectives; enable sellers to deliver live presentations and handle objections.
Build and refine value propositions using Sales Enablement and Product Marketing materials; provide feedback to refine messaging.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on priority products (e.g., Performance/Conversion, Gaming, Commerce, Innovation products, Sponsorships/Packaging) to inspire confidence in sellers and drive client adoption.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Go To Market, Product Managers, Product Strategy, Marketing, and others; provide informed recommendations on product steer and deployment.
Coach a team of Product Specialists to high performance, ensuring revenue delivery, customer activations, and retention.
Qualifications
Required:
CTV/Media/Advertising Product Sales Expertise: 12+ years in advertising-related product sales programs, with a focus on media, programmatic, or technology-related ad sales.
Product Sales Ownership: Experience leading Product Sales, driving adoption and retention.
Proven Track Record of Successful Product Launches: Sold and upsold new products, accelerating adoption of existing products in CTV, programmatic, and advertising spaces.
Strong Lower Funnel / Conversion / Performance knowledge: 8+ years selling conversion-related products; comfortable with Agencies and clients; fluent in customer outcomes.
Deep Gaming and Innovation background: 5+ years in Gaming/Innovation with related experience.
Packaging and Sponsorship knowledge: 5+ years in sponsorships, packaging, or specialty moment offerings; experience with Creators, Major Moments, Music/Artists.
People management: 8+ years leading high-performance sales teams, especially product specialists.
Cross-functional relationship strength: with Sales, Product Marketing, Engineering, L&D, Monetization, and others.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (product, marketing, business, media, etc).
Preferred Qualifications
Market landscape knowledge: Experience with leading media/CTV/OTT platforms or related programmatic platforms.
Familiarity with Samsung Ads products: Programmatic and direct offerings, device capabilities, and Samsung TV+ offerings.
Quota management: Sales role with target accounts and products.
Outcome-driven: End-to-end leader driving seller and market product adoption.
Communication: Strong written and verbal skills and persuasive presentation ability.
Operational focus: Highly organized and execution-oriented.
Advanced degree: Master’s or equivalent (MBA, Media, etc).
Additional Information
Travel: Occasional domestic or international travel up to 15% for internal and external meetings.
Salary : The base salary range is expected to be between $250,000 and $285,000. Actual pay determined by skills, experience, and market comparisons.
