
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Lead Carpenter
to oversee custom home builds and residential remodeling projects. This role requires strong craftsmanship, leadership ability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality construction work from project start through completion. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and confident managing job sites while collaborating closely with design professionals, subcontractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise carpenters and subcontractors on residential construction and remodeling projects
Interpret architectural drawings and ensure precise execution of design specifications
Manage daily job site operations, maintaining quality control and adherence to timelines
Communicate proactively with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction
Coordinate with design and project management teams to align construction progress with project goals
Monitor project milestones and ensure work is completed according to established standards
Maintain a safe and organized job site environment
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience; leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural plans
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
Commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and client service
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
