Regional Sales Manager (Remote)
Reports to: Director of Sales About The Role
We are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue growth for our industry-leading portable metrology software solutions. This role is responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and building strategic partnerships within manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, energy, and other precision-driven industries. The ideal candidate has experience selling technical B2B software—preferably in metrology, manufacturing technology, CAD/CAM, quality inspection, or related engineering solutions—and thrives in a consultative sales environment. What You’ll Do
Own and execute the regional sales strategy to exceed revenue targets Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to contract negotiation Conduct remote and onsite product demonstrations (often alongside application engineers) Develop strong relationships with manufacturing leaders, quality managers, and engineering stakeholders Expand existing accounts through upselling and cross‑selling opportunities Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in CRM Collaborate with marketing, technical support, and product teams to align messaging and customer success Represent the company at industry events and trade shows as needed Qualifications
Required Qualifications
5+ years of B2B sales experience in technical software or industrial technology Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota Experience selling into manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or industrial markets Strong consultative selling and value‑based negotiation skills Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts clearly Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) Willingness to travel within assigned region (25–50%) Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling metrology software, 3D scanning solutions, CMM software, or quality inspection systems Background in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial automation Familiarity with CAD platforms and inspection workflows Experience selling both software licenses and subscription models Key Competencies
