
EACs Portfolio Specialist, Energy Portfolio Operations

The Energy Portfolio Operations (EPO) team manages Amazon's portfolio of energy contracts post‑execution, monitors performance, provides controllership for energy spend, tracks and optimizes environmental attributes toward sustainability goals, and ensures the energy supply portfolio is compliant with regulations, obligations and policies.
Responsibilities
Execute post‑procurement REC activities and deliver against set operational excellence and sustainability goals.
Track and allocate/retire RECs across the global portfolio.
Develop expertise and act as a subject matter expert on REC frameworks (such as RPS), schemes and transactions in support of our energy business.
Support the management of renewable power purchase agreements globally and the contractual obligations with counterparties.
Support the onboarding process for new contracts across geographies, including REC registry account setup and related readiness activities.
Support settlement activities, including reconciliations, issue resolution and overall transaction controllership.
Report and analyze portfolio performance in collaboration with other teams, identifying impacts to business units and customers.
Plan and drive execution of initiatives to improve operations, continuously seeking to invent and simplify to generate a scale effect for Amazon’s energy portfolio management.
Work collaboratively with other Amazon teams to support the management of the energy programs.
Day in the Life Each day you will interact with different teams responsible for all aspects of the data centers. You will prioritize your activities to support data center capacity delivery, availability and safety, focusing on the actions that are most impactful. You will have the opportunity to work on projects locally and globally.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
1–3 years of analytics, back‑office or front‑office experience.
Experience in modeling and data visualizations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the utility/energy industry – compliance, regulatory, asset/contract management, market operations or similar.
