
Asset Management Analyst Intern

Radial Power is seeking an Asset Management Analyst Intern to support our growing portfolio of distributed solar and storage assets. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to the full lifecycle of operating clean energy projects post-commercial operation date (COD), including performance monitoring, financial reconciliation, compliance tracking, and investor reporting.
In this role, you will work closely with the Asset Management team and collaborate cross‑functionally with Development, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Customer Management. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail‑oriented and curious individual who is eager to learn how renewable energy assets operate and deliver long‑term value.
Requirements
Support monthly revenue and incentive reconciliation by comparing actual performance to forecasts, reviewing utility bills, and assisting in identifying discrepancies across revenue streams such as REC, PPA, and PILOT payments
Assist in tracking post‑COD contractual and regulatory obligations, including PPAs, leases, REC registrations (e.g., GATS, NYGATS), and regulatory filings
Help prepare quarterly performance and compliance reports by compiling production data, commercial updates, and key milestones
Coordinate with internal teams during project handoff from construction to operations, helping ensure documentation and deliverables are complete and organized
Assist in monitoring asset performance, outages, and maintenance activities in collaboration with the O&M team
Contribute to process improvements and automation efforts using tools such as SharePoint, Power Automate, or similar platforms
Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility into portfolio performance and key KPIs
Support tracking and compliance with federal, state, and local environmental requirements
Help prepare performance and compliance reports by compiling production data, commercial updates, and key milestones
Qualifications Education Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data analytics, finance, business, environmental studies, or a related field
Skills & Attributes
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with an interest in financial and operational data
Experience or coursework in data analysis and visualization (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools)
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn about renewable energy systems and asset performance
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Interest in technology, automation, and data tools (experience with Excel, Power Automate, or similar is a plus)
Familiarity with environmental compliance or regulatory frameworks (federal, state, or local) is a plus, but not required
