Summary The Functional Consultant provides initiative management guidance and functional expertise to support high-impact organizational projects. This role conducts detailed research and analysis to inform decision‑making, manages high‑complexity initiatives, and ensures that all deliverables meet established quality and compliance standards.
Essential Job Functions
Provide initiative management guidance to support program and project objectives
Manage high‑complexity projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and contractual requirements
Conduct detailed research, data analysis, and functional assessments to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
Develop reports, recommendations, and business documentation to support leadership decision‑making
Ensure product and deliverable quality through thorough review and validation processes
Monitor compliance with regulatory, contractual, and organizational standards
Necessary Skills and Knowledge
Strong expertise in business process analysis and re‑engineering methodologies
Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills
Ability to influence and advise senior leadership
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, or related field
PMP/DHS mid‑level PM (or equivalent)
Minimum 6 years of experience OR 5 years with a Master’s degree or higher
Ability to pass employment background check and obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
Pay Range: $50.00 - $55.29 per hour
