About the Role A well-established general contractor specializing in ground-up residential and multifamily construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee a 4-story residential apartment project in the Dallas market. This role is ideal for a hands-on field leader with strong experience in low- to mid-rise residential construction who can take ownership of the jobsite from mobilization through final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish
Lead daily field operations, including subcontractor coordination and work sequencing
Maintain project schedule, safety standards, and quality control
Oversee inspections, site logistics, and material deliveries
Coordinate closely with project management and ownership to meet milestones
Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and local building codes
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in residential or condominium construction
Ground-up experience required, specifically low- to mid-rise (4-story preferred)
Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
Experience with urban or tight-site construction environments a plus
Ability to run a jobsite independently
