Food Purchasing Manager
to support operations at a large healthcare account in Concord, NC.
This role oversees approximately
$6.3 million
in annual food purchasing volume and is responsible for ensuring product availability, cost control, vendor performance, and inventory accuracy within a fast‑paced hospital environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Manage all food and non‑food purchasing for the account
Maintain vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance
Monitor pricing, cost controls, and budget performance
Oversee inventory processes including pars, counts, receiving, and storage
Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing storage areas as needed
Ensure accurate reporting and alignment with company procurement standards
Partner with culinary and operations leadership to support daily execution
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in
food purchasing within a foodservice environment
Strong understanding of inventory management and cost control
Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or contract foodservice preferred
Organized, analytical, and comfortable in a hands‑on role
Proficient in purchasing and inventory systems
