
Software Engineer – AI Ops
Seeking an AI Ops–focused Software Engineer to support monitoring, cost optimization, and operational analytics for AI and ML platforms in a cloud environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor AI and ML systems including inference, embeddings, and API usage
Build dashboards to track performance, reliability, and cloud spend
Analyze logs and metrics to troubleshoot operational issues
Support cloud cost optimization using FinOps practices
Partner with engineering teams on operational improvements
Required Qualifications
2–4 years in Ops, Analytics, or Technical Operations (AIOps, MLOps, DataOps, Platform Ops)
Understanding of AI and ML concepts including LLMs and vector databases
Experience with cloud cost tracking and optimization
Proficiency with dashboarding tools (Looker, Tableau, Grafana)
Working knowledge of GCP; AWS or Azure is a plus
Comfortable with SQL and basic Python
Experience with monitoring and observability tools
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
Preferred
Experience with managed LLM platforms
Familiarity with AI agents or RAG systems
Exposure to ML lifecycle operations or Responsible AI concepts
