About the Role
The Business Development Lead – BFSI is a senior sales role responsible for driving growth across Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) clients in the Southwestern United States . The role focuses on new logo acquisition, expanding existing accounts, shaping large strategic deals, and positioning transformation-led solutions. The individual will collaborate closely with market development teams, solutions experts, and industry SMEs to generate demand and build a strong sales pipeline for the region.
Responsibilities
- Drive proactive demand generation through consultative selling for assigned BFSI target accounts.
- Expand the company’s presence within BFSI firms in the Southwest region , focusing on both new logos and existing accounts.
- Identify, shape, and lead new business opportunities and large transformation deals for the BFSI vertical.
- Stay updated on BFSI business trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to guide client conversations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including global delivery, industry SMEs, and solution architects, to build strong client value propositions.
- Establish and nurture CXO-level relationships to create strategic engagement across the client organization.
- Drive thought leadership in deal pursuits and client interactions, showcasing the company’s transformation capabilities.
- Meet and exceed annual growth, revenue, and opportunity origination targets .
- Ensure scaled and positive impact on client business outcomes using the company’s full portfolio of IT and digital services.
Requirements
- 12–15 years of overall sales experience, primarily within the BFSI industry .
- Strong background in IT services or consulting , with experience in working across global delivery and global teams.
- Proven track record in business development, new logo acquisition, and large-deal shaping .
- Ability to drive strategic conversations and engage senior stakeholders across banking, financial services, and insurance clients.
- Deep understanding of BFSI business processes, regulatory demands, and technology trends.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
- Experience in the Southwestern US market is preferred, but not mandatory.
