Site Quality Director (Aerospace/Defense) — Location: Downingtown, PA. Base pay range: $150,000/yr - $165,000/yr. Additional compensation types: Annual Bonus. We are representing a globally recognized aerospace manufacturing organization that is actively seeking a Site Quality Leader to lead their flagship $600M campus. The organization was recently named a "TOP PLACES TO WORK" based on compensation, culture, and employee satisfaction. The candidate will report to the VP/General Manager and begin the interview process ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Candidate will report to the VP/General Manager while leading a department of five engineers, with a strong dotted line relationship to the Divisional Director of Quality.
- Complete financial/budgetary ownership of the department.
- Own the plant quality function while working cross-functionally with different departments.
- Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
- Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
- Work closely with plant staff to develop "HI-POT" talent.
- Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree is required for consideration (preference for technical field)
- Candidate should have strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100
- Candidate should have at least 5 years of Quality Management experience within highly regulated environment
- Experience in Metals environment preferred
