Key Responsibilities
- Bring and manage an existing book of business (shipper customers)
- Quote freight and negotiate rates with customers
- Book and manage loads from pickup to delivery
- Coordinate with carriers and internal operations as needed
- Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of all shipments
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business
- Communicate load details, documentation, and updates clearly
- Comply with all FMCSA, DOT, and brokerage regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must have an existing book of business
- Prior experience as a freight agent or freight broker
- Strong understanding of freight brokerage operations
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations
- Reliable phone, internet, and workspace
- Authorized to work in the United States
