A manufacturing and supply chain business ($2B+ revenue, 10+ locations, 9 manufacturing plants) is hiring a senior technology executive to lead the global information systems function. The company is privately owned, US‑headquartered, and operates across regulated industries including personal care, food service, and consumer goods.
About the Role
This is a confidential executive search to replace or upgrade an incumbent, with a focus on transformation, AI enablement, and ERP modernization.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a 3‑year roadmap for enterprise systems, digital platforms, and data governance
- Oversee all core systems including ERP (JD Edwards), WMS (Logility), HCM (UKG), MES, and M365
- Develop and scale AI/ML pilots across manufacturing, finance, operations, and customer‑facing workflows
- Drive post‑merger technology integration and support digital transformation across 9 plants and multiple DCs
- Create an IS organizational structure to match scale, security, and innovation goals
- Oversee a multi‑million dollar technology budget (OPEX & CAPEX), vendor strategy, and insourcing/outsourcing decisions
- Implement scalable cybersecurity, DR/BCP, and compliance controls
Qualifications
- Led global IT or IS teams in complex, multi‑site manufacturing or logistics environments
- Delivered measurable impact through ERP modernization, AI/ML rollout, or data governance programs
- Reported to the CEO, President, or executive committee
- Worked in companies between $500M–$5B in revenue
- Managed budgets of $10M+ and teams of 40+ across infrastructure, apps, and security
- Translated business needs into digital strategies across supply chain, finance, HR, and operations
- Been accountable for IS transformation in a private‑equity, privately‑held, or family‑owned business
- Experience with systems like Oracle Fusion, JD Edwards, UKG, Microsoft Azure, MES platforms, or MDM tools
Required Skills
