Overview

We are looking for a Director of Medical Education to join our fast-growing team. Internally, our Director will work directly with both our Education and Sales teams to stay up-to-date on trending medical topics and to help develop strategies in new practice areas. Externally, the Director is the face of their specialty to our KOL community and will be responsible for expanding that community and conceptualizing new strategic initiatives relevant to these partnerships.

What you'll do

Develop the clinical strategy for making VuMedi the top educational resource in Neurology. We are looking for candidates who come to us with a framework in biology and medicine with experience specific to headache, dementia, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, movement or neuromuscular disorders.
Be our market researcher. Track and communicate key trends in your specialties. Keep up to date on clinical trials, trends, and products aligned to trends.
Coordinate with our education team to ensure we have video content to contextualize these trends and recruit KOLs to provide timely information.
Ensure that our sales team is always looking around the next corner and knows what therapies are upcoming.
Develop relationships with KOLs, meeting organizers, hospitals, and societies to build a network of content contributors.
Identify and test approaches to make VuMedi methodologies more efficient and productive.

You have been an MSL or a regional marketing manager. You have a sales background and know-how to get from \"no\" to \"yes.\"
You're accustomed to talking to KOLs, including in person.
You know the KOL landscape. You can rattle off the speakers' bureau in your specialty.

We are looking for a Director of Medical Education to join our fast-growing team. Internally, our Director will be our expert on Pulmonology disease states, maintaining a deep understanding of the clinical management, therapeutic advancements, and key questions and controversies in the field. The Director will lead our Education team to acquire video content in these Disease types that address the diverse learning needs of our community. Externally, our Director is the face of Vumedi Pulmonology to clinician experts, academic medical centers, and Pulmonology societies. The Director will be responsible for developing those relationships and conceptualizing and executing new strategic initiatives relevant to these partnerships.

What you’ll do:

Lead a team of driven individuals in a fast-paced environment
Develop the clinical strategy for making VuMedi the top educational resource in Pulmonology. We are looking for candidates who come to us with a background in biology and medicine with experience specific to Pulmonology and related immunologic diseases and their therapeutic treatment landscape.
Develop deep expertise in the Pulmonology space by tracking and communicating key trends, data releases, guideline updates and new therapeutics.
Develop and maintain relationships with KOLs, meeting organizers, hospitals, and societies to build a national network of content contributors and partners.
Coordinate with our Education team and recruit clinical experts to obtain video content that is up to date and fulfills educational gaps for clinicians.
Partner with our marketing team to analyze and optimize our community engagement and overall impact
Communicate with our sales team to provide them with insight into the latest developments and trends in the industry.
