
Baseballism is seeking a full-time, on-site SEO & AI Search Optimization Specialist to lead our search visibility strategy across traditional search engines and AI-powered discovery platforms. This role will focus heavily on modern search dynamics including AI ranking, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), entity optimization, semantic search, and visibility within large language model ecosystems.
This is not a back-office SEO role. This position will collaborate across marketing, creative, e-commerce, product, and leadership teams to drive digital awareness, traffic growth, and long-term brand authority. The right candidate will be a strategic thinker, technical executor, and internal educator who helps shape how Baseballism shows up across the evolving digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities
AI Search & AEO Leadership
Develop and execute strategies to improve Baseballism’s visibility in AI-generated search results (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.). Implement Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies focused on structured content, entity authority, and semantic depth. Optimize for zero-click search, featured snippets, knowledge panels, and conversational search experiences. Monitor and adapt to algorithm shifts in both traditional and AI-powered search environments. Technical & On-Site SEO
Lead technical SEO initiatives including site architecture, crawl optimization, indexing strategy, internal linking structure, and schema markup. Optimize product pages, collections, landing pages, and editorial content for high-intent search queries. Implement structured data and schema to enhance search visibility and machine readability. Partner with developers to ensure site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile performance are best-in-class. Content & Entity Strategy
Collaborate with the content and creative teams to build high-authority baseball-focused content hubs. Conduct advanced keyword and entity research aligned with brand positioning and product strategy. Identify opportunities to rank for baseball lifestyle, youth apparel, and culture-driven search terms. Build evergreen content strategies designed to establish Baseballism as the authoritative baseball lifestyle brand online. Digital Awareness & Cross-Platform Optimization
Drive search visibility beyond Google — including YouTube, TikTok search, Pinterest, marketplace search, and emerging AI platforms. Align SEO initiatives with paid media, email marketing, and social campaigns to amplify reach and impact. Support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and key growth initiatives with search-first strategy. Track, analyze, and report on organic performance metrics, AI citation visibility, and overall digital footprint. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, E-Commerce, Product Development, Creative, and Leadership teams to align digital growth initiatives. Educate internal teams on modern SEO and AI search trends. Serve as the internal authority on search performance and organic growth strategy. Contribute to strategic planning for long-term digital expansion. Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in SEO, with demonstrated success in driving organic traffic growth. Deep understanding of technical SEO, structured data, and semantic search. Experience optimizing for AI-driven search results and answer engines. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar. Familiarity with schema implementation, entity mapping, and content architecture strategy. Experience in DTC e-commerce is strongly preferred. Passion for baseball culture and sports apparel is a plus. Key Attributes
