Senior AppMod GTM Specialist, Media and Entertainment
Job ID: 3179038 | Amazon Web Services, Inc.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is proud to be the pioneer and widely recognized leader in Cloud Computing. Our web services provide IT infrastructure in-the-cloud that is used by hundreds of thousands of developers and businesses around the world. This role focuses on Application Modernization, Container Services, Serverless, Open‑source technology, and Migration/Modernization experience for Media and Entertainment customers.
This role is responsible for partnering with leading strategic Media and Entertainment customers and enabling them to adopt the portfolio of AppMod, Containers, Serverless, Open‑source, and Migration and Modernization services, including Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), AWS Fargate, Amazon Elastic Container Registry (ECR), and AWS App Mesh.
As part of this team, you will help shape how Media and Entertainment customers deploy cloud‑native workloads in containers and further establish Amazon as a leader in cloud computing. You will demonstrate Customer Obsession and represent the voice of the customer as you work with product teams across AWS to evolve services. You will develop scalable motions to establish new business in target market segments, support and enable the global field organization, and drive day‑to‑day customer interactions.
As the single‑threaded owner for the GTM plan for the Media and Entertainment customer segment, you will extend the AWS Container Services product team to this set of customers, understand use cases, gather customer feature requests and feedback, and influence product direction.
Use your business savvy to identify new workload patterns and use cases, drive lighthouse wins, and develop and execute scalable adoption programs. Your background in cloud‑native applications will help customers improve business outcomes using AWS container orchestration services. Your verbal and written communication skills will allow you to influence business leaders, build sales enablement tools, and evangelize the AWS portfolio with our enterprise customers.
You will also identify and drive strategic partnerships with ISVs and SIs, working backwards from customer requirements. The ideal candidate has both a business background that enables CxO/VP level engagements and a technical background that enables interaction with software developers and architects. Demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking, compelling value proposition communication, and cross‑organizational consensus building are essential.
