Job Overview Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Startup Account Manager to build relationships and revenue with well‑funded high‑potential startups. You will drive customer success, accelerate adoption of AWS services, and help startups choose AWS as their primary cloud provider.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure customer success with early and mid‑stage startups

Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical

Accelerate adoption through well‑developed sales engagements and successful GTM strategy

Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and goal targets

Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan

Create compelling value propositions around AWS services

Engage founders, CxO, board members and VC influencers to accelerate adoption

Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption

Develop long‑term strategic relationships with key accounts

Expect moderate travel

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of sales experience

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud Technology Certification (e.g., Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, Cloud DevOps Engineering)

Knowledge of startup ecosystem and AI/ML familiarity

Strong sales acumen and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
