
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Startup Account Manager to earn trust and drive growth among a portfolio of well‑funded, high‑potential startups.
As AWS continues to grow, you will work with startups building innovative AI/ML solutions, collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to accelerate adoption of AWS services and ensure these founders choose AWS as their primary cloud provider.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure customer success with early and mid‑stage startups.
Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical.
Accelerate customer adoption through well‑developed sales engagements and successful GTM strategy.
Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and goal targets.
Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan.
Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
Engage founders, CxO, board members, and VC influencers to accelerate adoption.
Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
Develop long‑term strategic relationships with key accounts.
Expect moderate travel.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Cloud technology certification (e.g., Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud DevOps Engineering).
Salary:
$101,600.00 – $177,800.00 USD annually (based on experience, qualifications, and location).
