Job Overview Ductologist is hiring Sheet Metal Foremen to lead field crews on commercial and industrial HVAC sheet metal projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for experienced professionals who take pride in clean installs, strong teamwork, and getting the job done right. The Sheet Metal Foreman is responsible for directing daily field operations, coordinating with project management and other trades, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise sheet metal crews on commercial and industrial HVAC projects
Perform hands‑on installation of HVAC ductwork and related sheet metal systems
Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications accurately
Coordinate daily activities with Project Managers, other foremen, and trades
Ensure productivity, quality, and workmanship meet company standards
Enforce jobsite safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Plan daily work activities, crew assignments, and material needs
Troubleshoot and resolve field issues in real time to keep projects on schedule
Train and mentor crew members, setting expectations for professionalism and performance
Communicate progress, issues, and material needs clearly to leadership
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in commercial sheet metal or HVAC installation preferred
Proven experience leading crews or acting as a foreman or lead installer
Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and sheet metal practices
Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and scopes of work
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills
High level of accountability, work ethic, and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, field‑based environment
Willingness to travel as required for project locations
No formal education or licenses required
