SERVER ASSISTANT

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, energetic Server Assistant / Food Runner to support our restaurant team and deliver exceptional guest service. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized dining environment while ensuring timely and accurate food and beverage service.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Clear, clean, and reset tables; maintain dining room cleanliness throughout service
Deliver food from kitchen to guests accurately and efficiently
Support servers and bartenders with daily operations
Set up and maintain buffet and bar areas, including ice, glassware, and supplies
Stock and replenish glassware, silverware, beverages, and service items
Prepare coffee, tea, juices, and assist with basic mise en place
Monitor equipment and report maintenance concerns
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service standards
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests
Assist as needed with side work and additional assigned duties
Qualifications
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Passion for hospitality and guest service
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Must possess a valid California Food Handler Certification and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification, or be willing and able to obtain both upon hire
