We are seeking an experienced Estimator Residential Construction to support custom and spec home projects through accurate takeoffs, disciplined budgeting, and subcontractor pricing. The Estimator Residential Construction is responsible for creating accurate project budgets and cost analyses before construction begins, helping ensure smooth execution and controlled costs throughout each build. Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed takeoffs using Buildertrend and Excel Develop and maintain budgets for custom and spec homes Review plans, specifications, and site conditions Solicit, review, and negotiate subcontractor and vendor pricing Price change orders and upgrades Compare estimated costs to actual job costs Value engineer plans to improve efficiency and cost control Qualifications
35 years of residential estimating experience Experience with custom and/or spec homes required Strong understanding of residential construction materials and methods Proficiency in Excel; Buildertrend experience preferred Independent, detail-driven work style Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $65,000$75,000 401(k) and subsidized health insurance Why This Role
