Choices in Community Living provides professional direct care services for individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome and other developmental disabilities.
Our mission is assisting people with developmental disabilities to have access to opportunities to build safe, healthy and meaningful lives in the community. We are looking for Caring, Compassionate applicants that are detail oriented, who also share a passion for providing the best services possible to the individuals we serve.
Applicant must be able to handle high stress environments, along with the possibility of lifting excess of 50 pounds or more and being on their feet for multiple hours. Applicant must also be able to pass a physical & drug screen as well as a Background Check.
Job Description: Provides services and support in all aspects of daily living to individuals with developmental disabilities. Provides residential services and support for clients in a home environment in the Dayton (and surrounding) Community. Responsible for providing assistance with daily living functions in accordance with each client's individual service plan. Responsible for overall living arrangements, management of finances and appointments, record keeping and documentation. Encourages meaningful relationships with neighbors and friends and involvement in community and recreational activities.
Minimum Qualifications: Licensed, insured driver with good driving record. May use personal vehicle to transport clients. Choices in Community Living compensates for personal vehicle use according to company policy. Must be able to pass a background check, physical exam and drug screen. Must provide proof of auto insurance.
