Our client is a full-service commercial and industrial construction staffing firm that provides guaranteed, reliable craftsmen to contractors who need them, where and when they need them, for as long as they need them. They were founded in 2003 and was created as a response to the construction industry's challenges with recruiting and hiring flexible, skilled craftsman. They founded the company with the goal of creating a strong construction staffing company that encompassed two main themes: creating a team environment with strong leadership, and a business culture that inspired employees to strive to be their best. As a sales rep you will be responsible for new business development within commercial construction sites developing relationships with project managers, superintendents and sub-contractors of existing customers and new prospects. You will be in the field selling, furthering the sales process, manage sales pipeline/funnel, attend meetings with current and prospective customers, presentations and securing new contracts. Three-four days in the field with 1-2 days planning the next week, collecting timecards, following up by way of email, phone or video, and client interaction. Responsibilities: New business development to identify prospective customers within all verticals in their assigned market through inside/outside sales efforts Uncovering positions to include, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, HVAC, concrete, drywall, flaggers, glazers and sheet metal to name a few Walk new contractors onto construction sites to the hiring manager, ensure PPE, answer questions, etc. Maintain and grow relationships to identify upcoming projects through ABC, IEC and similar networking communities, construction journals and dodge reports Provide local and travel services for skilled trades Build out a market from scratch focusing on commercial construction staffing Qualifications: Aggressive sales hunter skilled developing business through cold calling (inside/outside), canvassing, building relationships with project managers, sub-contractors and general contractors.
