Senior Social Strategist
to join our
KIA
team!
We are a hybrid workplace, currently x3 days per week in-office. Local candidates only. No third party vendors please.
This role is ideal for a proven leader who excels in client communication, data-driven insights, and creative storytelling across social media platforms. You’ll oversee strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, performance reporting, and the mentoring of junior talent—all while helping guide the brand voice of one of the fastest-growing automotive brands in the U.S.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the development and execution
of comprehensive, annual and campaign-based social strategies aligned with brand objectives and audience insights.
Serve as a
client-facing expert , confidently presenting strategies, performance results (the Why), and POVs on emerging trends.
Manage the end-to-end
social performance reporting
process—tracking KPIs, analyzing content and engagement data, and delivering actionable insights to internal and client teams.
Translate data into compelling stories through
clear, visual presentations
and written summaries for executive-level audiences.
Serve as mentor to the team’s Community Managers; oversee content calendars, community management plans, and engagement strategies.
Guide
creative briefing processes , integrating cultural, platform, and audience insights to inspire creative content that performs across owned channels.
Develop and implement
influencer strategies , including identification, negotiation, and execution of talent partnerships to support storytelling.
Foster community growth through advocacy tactics, influencer engagement, and proactive conversation strategy.
Act as the agency’s
internal social media expert , championing best practices and innovation across teams.
Author strategic POVs on platform updates, competitive activity, and industry trends to inform creative and media direction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience in social strategy, preferably within a creative or integrated agency setting.
Strong leadership qualities with prior
team management or mentorship experience .
Exceptional client communication and presentation skills , with a track record of earning trust and influencing decision-making.
Expert-level understanding of social platforms (Meta, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.) and digital content trends.
Proven ability to extract insights from data and social analytics tools (Sprinklr, Brandwatch, native platform analytics).
Skilled in storytelling, creative briefing, and social-first thinking.
