A private Dallas-based family is seeking a Portfolio Project and Maintenance Manager to oversee capital projects, renovations, and preventative maintenance across an 11-property portfolio in the U.S. and U.K.
This role serves as the operational liaison between the family office, on-site Property Managers, and third-party contractors. While not responsible for daily property management, this individual ensures quality control, consistency, and execution across all estates. The position requires regular domestic and international travel, discretion, and comfort operating in high-trust environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead maintenance, renovation, and capital improvement projects across 11 properties
Conduct routine inspections to proactively identify issues and maintain consistent standards
Partner with construction teams on ground-up builds and major renovations
Maintenance & Systems
Oversee HVAC, MEP systems, landscaping, and overall property presentation in coordination with on-site teams
Supervise vendors and contractors to ensure quality, budget adherence, and timeline accountability
Review plans, walk job sites, and identify risks early
Maintain strong vendor relationships across markets
Communication & Reporting
Serve as liaison between family office leadership, Property Managers, and project teams
Provide clear project tracking, budget updates, and status reporting
Facilitate consistent cross-functional communication
Travel
Travel domestically and internationally for active project oversight and inspections
Qualifications
10+ years in luxury residential construction, estate oversight, or high-end project management
Strong knowledge of building systems and high-end residential standards
Experience managing multi-property portfolios and concurrent projects
Skilled in vendor oversight, budget tracking, and risk identification
Polished communicator with discretion and professionalism
Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented
Valid driver’s license and passport required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent references & clean background
Location Dallas, Texas (as well as travel through US & internationally)
Compensation 180-250K DOE + strong benefits package
Schedule Monday - Friday with flexibility as needed
