Responsibilities
Work closely with the lab diagnostic (DX) sales force to identify customers who are in the buying cycle for new Plasma Protein equipment, targeting both current customers and new prospects.
Actively identify new prospects and position Siemens solutions to win accounts and increase market share.
Manage the installed base of Siemens systems and increase revenue, especially through penetration with newly launched assays.
Serve as the key sales expert for plasma protein diagnostics, enabling customer relationships and sales success.
Coordinate all sales opportunity‑based activities including technical presentations, financial proposals, customer references, site visits, equipment demonstrations, contracting and negotiating, and collaboration with the customer throughout implementation when the sale is closed.
Exhibit strong customer relationship management skills using Siemens CRM systems to ensure accurate sales funnel activity, opportunity progression, and forecasting. Collaborate with Account Managers to keep data accurate and transparent for reporting. Complete activity tracking and business review reporting as requested. Utilize strategic account planning tools to communicate account strategies across the organization.
Develop newly installed customers into reference accounts, exceeding revenue and growth expectations, maximizing profitability, and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Cultivate long‑term relationships with key account decision makers.
Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Scientific Support, Technical Applications Organization, and Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
BA or equivalent degree.
3+ years of sales experience for plasma protein solutions.
Knowledge of key plasma protein diagnostic markers, particularly Free Light Chains.
75% travel required.
Computer skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
Valid driver’s license in good standing.
Clinical diagnostics – laboratory capital equipment sales experience strongly preferred.
Compensation Variable compensation available. Target earnings are $65,000. Variable compensation for this role is $65,000.
Base salary range: $85,600 – 117,700 (geography, skills, experience and other qualifications may affect starting pay).
