Collections Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Collections Specialist will make outbound collections calls.
- Collections Specialist will make calls based on the aging buckets provided (e.g. a patient balance could be newer or about to go to collections. Calling the patient to get paid in full or put on a payment plan)
- Collections Specialist will make 50-60 calls/day or 250-300 calls weekly.
- Collections Specialist role will be patient focused role. (Collections Specialist will not be speaking with insurance.
- Collections Specialist will complete ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested
Requirements:
- Experience in medical collections or AR experience in insurance – must be able to explain to the patient why a cost wasn’t covered by insurance.
- Should have experience with a medical collections software (Epic, Modernizing Medicine, ModMed, etc.)
- Previous AR experience
- Basic Excel experience – ability to update a spreadsheet

Salary: $43K - $47K
