Customer Service Representative

serves as a primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, supporting order management, account maintenance, and transactional processing within SAP and CRM systems. This role focuses on accuracy, timeliness, compliance with company policies, and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

Receives, research and answers internal and external customer and key account inquiries and requests regarding standard products, prices, and delivery.

Accurately enters, maintains, and updates sales orders in SAP, ensuring correctness of: Pricing, Delivery dates, credit worthiness, freight, billing and shipping, tax status and part numbers.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and maintaining accuracy.

Reviews orders for completeness and compliance with company policies prior to release.

Remains current on changes in policies, procedures, and product offerings, assuring compliance.

Creates and maintains customer records and master data updates in SAP and CRM systems.

Applies the appropriate discounts and commissions based on company schedules.

Interfaces with Sales team, Credit Department Engineering, Production and Warehouse on behalf of key accounts and customers’ requests.

Maintains correct customer information; to include names, addresses, etc.

Enters orders received from customers. Reviews customer purchase for price, delivery, payment terms, carrier, freight, billing and shipping address, item description, tax status and part number(s).

Initiates credit application for the credit department and processes credit card orders.

Process all sales orders and accessory/parts orders initiated through the C4 Ticketing System, ensuring accurate entry, documentation, and workflow progression in SAP.

Prepares credit card sales returns/credit memos, and issues returned goods authorizations.

Maintains organized documentation and follow-up records to ensure timely resolution of open items.

Assists with routing customer inquiries and sales leads to appropriate teams.

Participates in required system, product, and process training.

Required Experience

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

2 plus years of experience in Customer Service: Required

Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or technical environment: Preferred

SAP experience (order entry, order management, customer master data): Preferred

Experience working within ERP systems: Required

Experience with CRM systems: Preferred

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Job Requirements

Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check (most felonies are a disqualifier, misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basis)

Willingness to travel domestically for training

Valid Drivers’ License must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standards

Employment with Busch Vacuum Solutions requires current work authorization in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Physical Requirements

Frequent sitting; occasional standing and walking

Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 20 lbs

Occasional bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling

Ability to hear audible alarms and see visual signals

Ability to wear required PPE including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection
