Inside Sales Representative – Plumbing / PVF

Position Summary The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling plumbing and PVF products over the phone and in person at the companys Miami location. This role focuses on quoting, order entry, customer service, and communicating the companys value proposition to contractors, builders, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate understands PVF products and thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sell plumbing and PVF products via phone, email, and walk-in traffic
Prepare accurate quotes and follow up to close sales
Enter, process, and track customer orders
Communicate our value proposition (inventory availability, technical expertise, competitive pricing, service reliability)
Source, negotiate, and process purchases of special-order items
Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure timely fulfillment
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, plumbers, mechanical companies, and industrial accounts
Resolve customer inquiries and order discrepancies promptly
Support outside sales team with pricing, product availability, and technical information
Maintain knowledge of PVF products, vendors, and market pricing
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in plumbing or PVF distribution preferred
Knowledge of pipe, valves, fittings, and related plumbing materials
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to multi-task and manage high call volume
Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred in the Miami market
