
Account Manager (Benefits)

Position Overview
We are seeking a professional to manage Employee Benefits programs for Japanese corporate clients. This role offers a high level of autonomy, operating with responsibilities similar to those of an Account Executive, and requires independent ownership of client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and retain both existing and newly assigned client accounts
Lead renewal processes, including plan review, negotiations, and adjustments
Provide consultative guidance and strategic recommendations to clients
Independently oversee client relationships with significant discretion and accountability
No proactive sales or business development activities required
Required Qualifications
Native-level Japanese language proficiency with deep understanding of Japanese business culture
Prior experience working at a Japanese insurance brokerage is required
5+ years of experience in Employee Benefits strongly preferred
Proven ability to independently manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service
