has an exciting opportunity for an **Environmental Health and Safety Specialist** at our **Burbank, CA**location.The Environmental Health & Safety Specialist will use established procedures and work under general supervision of the Environmental Health and Safety Manager to implement and maintain company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. This role is involved in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and implements environmental, health and safety initiatives. Familiar with regulatory requirements, standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the environmental health and safety field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.• Any other tasks assigned by the EH&S Manager or other management.- **Experience:** 1-3 years of relevant environmental, health and safety work experience.- **Knowledge:** Excellent working knowledge and understanding of applicable environmental health & safety regulations, codes and standards including CFR’s, CCR's, OSHA, EPA, Cal-EPA, SCAQMD, CAWater Resources Control, DOT, RCRA and CUPA.- **Skills/Abilities:** A basic understanding of industrial chemicals and their properties. Ability to use Windows based suite of software programs including MS Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, excellent communication skills, willingness to investigate potentially hazardous situations, demonstrated ability to conduct stand up presentations, and ability to interact with internal and external contacts.- **Education/Certification:** Bachelor's Degree required. Preferably in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineer/Health, or Occupational Safety and Health. Certifications in First Aid, CPR, AED, Emergency Response, Powered Industrial Trucks, Fall Protection, DOT, HAZWOPER,CIH, CHMM are preferred.You can see a list of our benefits at
