Regional Sales Director Inspire Hospice and Palliative Care

Location:

Regional oversight across multiple Inspire Hospice markets

Position Overview The

Regional Sales Director

provides strategic leadership for business development across multiple Inspire Hospice locations.

This role is responsible for

driving census growth, developing and managing a high-performing Community Relations team, and strengthening referral partnerships

across the region. The Regional Sales Director partners closely with

Executive Directors and clinical leadership

to ensure each market has a strong presence with referral sources and the infrastructure needed to support sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities Regional Growth Strategy

Lead regional strategy to drive

consistent census growth across Inspire Hospice branches

Monitor market performance, referral trends, and admission data

Identify new opportunities for referral partnerships and community outreach

Ensure each market is meeting

admission and census goals

Team Leadership

Recruit, hire, and develop

Community Relations Representatives

Provide regular coaching, field support, and ride-alongs

Conduct performance reviews and establish clear expectations for outreach activity and results

Support team members in building and maintaining strong referral relationships

Sales Performance Management

Track and manage

activity metrics, conversion rates, and admissions

Maintain visibility into sales pipelines and referral development

Hold regular team and individual performance meetings

Implement strategies to address performance gaps when needed

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with

Executive Directors and clinical leaders

to align growth initiatives with operational capacity

Support the launch and integration of new Inspire Hospice locations

Maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and other healthcare partners

Key Performance Indicators

Regional

Average Daily Census (ADC) growth

Monthly and quarterly

admission targets

Development of new

referral sources

Referral-to-admission

conversion rates

Sales team performance and engagement

Qualifications

5+ years of hospice or healthcare sales leadership experience

Experience managing

multi-location or regional sales teams

Proven success in

building referral networks and growing census

Strong understanding of

hospice eligibility, referral sources, and healthcare systems

Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategy

Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
