Transpo is looking for a creative, talented individual to support our in-house Marketing and Creative Services team. The Marketing Assistant will support the Creative Services and Marketing Leads with the creation of copy for proposals, resumes, project write-ups, and other marketing collateral. This role will also support ongoing marketing projects and company initiatives. This role is responsible for performing various marketing duties in support of proposal creation, business development, internet-related marketing, conferences, and event management.

Responsibilities:
Analyzes Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) and outlines proposal/submittal to be responsive to client’s requirements, including content, format, forms and other information. Compiles materials for proposals and other submittals, ensuring that requirements are fully met. Updates and maintains marketing information using Vantagepoint and Cosential/Unanet. Uses internal databases to search for appropriate materials, such as related project descriptions and resumes of project personnel. Keeps marketing materials (descriptions, resumes, photos, etc.) up to date in databases. Creates, proofreads, and edits proposal text for proper grammar, spelling, comprehension and style. Copy edits existing project summaries and resumes of project personnel, and other supporting materials. Coordinates development of graphic materials. Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and initiatives, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and other promotional activities. Support event planning and execution, including conferences and other industry events. Required Qualifications:
BA in Marketing, Advertising, English or Communications, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign 1+ year demonstrated professional experience and skill in marketing/communications, writing, and editing. Willingness to take on any task from administrative to challenging, in order to meet client needs. Collaborative working style and the ability to build strong relationships with internal clients at all levels of the company. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated success in managing competing deadlines and needs. Desired Additional Skills:
A/E/C Experience a plus (1+ years) Adobe Creative Suite proficiency Working knowledge of graphics and image editing software Experience with proposal writing a plus $65,000-$72,000 (based on SMPS Seattle Annual Salary survey average) Additional Information:
This is a full-time position that requires occasional travel to attend industry events and conferences. The Marketing Assistant will primarily work in an office environment but may also work remotely or from home, as approved by manager. The job may require working outside of regular business hours to meet project deadlines or attend events.
